to all! Tis a new year, new decade, a bright new promise for change...blah,blah,blah. Have we all heard this before? Yes, the same old resolutions made and broken by when, January 15th perhaps? The only thing we can try to change is to stop making promises we can't keep! Live for the day people, that's all you can do in this crazy world!Hey, it's not all bad! This year could not be as bad as the last few. We have the same government puppets, telling the new guy what to do, even though he has promised us all the world. My only positive thought on President "Cool" is that he seems intelligent enough to know the difference AND has a wife with "big guns" to set him straight! Go Michelle!!
So, with my scattered national thoughts out of the way, I would love to focus on projects I have yet to accomplish this coming year. Ones that won't get in the way of my personal life (Hah), and will make some difference in some folk's deserving lives!
I have started out the year doing what I normally do, which is keeping busy in every passing moment. My husband recently trimmed a willow tree in our front yard. Those poor branches were lying on the ground, bare, lifeless and begging to be needed for anything other than compost. Well, here is the sibling chair of 2010 to it's sister of 2006. Hope you all like it!
I have also started creating a catalog for my line of Handmade Chainmaille Jewelry. It's a basic line that will feature several styles of earrings, bracelets, necklaces, anklets and the occasional OOAK items for the hidden "Tudors" and "Warriors" in us all! My daughter-in-law will be my great sales force behind that, since she has SO MANY FRIENDS!! Go Sabin!!
That's all for now! Keep it productive and creative, guys!
